Temenggor Dam was the venue for Fish Thailand's 2011 annual Malaysia snakehead fishing trip. This year the selected seven adventure anglers flew to meet up at Penang International Airport from several countries including Singapore, America, Korea, Australia & Thailand.
The target of course fishing in Malaysia is the giant snakehead using a variety of fishing techniques such as live baiting, lure casting and fly fishing from the water seating two anglers per boat.
Throughout the four days fishing as predicted the livebait anglers boated the biggest and most snakehead, while the rarest catch fell to Kelvin's lure in the form of a baby lizard!
The evenings were spent talking fish over dinner at the lake side hotel, approximately 120 snakehead were landed in the four days, some small, some big and some very big; of course the ones lost were even bigger!
