Best Angling Techniques For The Method Lake
Traditional Thai methods have proven most effective for targeting Mekong catfish and striped catfish, consisting of:
- A method feeder suspended beneath a float
- Casting into open water at differing depths depending on weather conditions

If you prefer to target pacu with the chance of a Siamese carp, then a delicate float fishing approach fished on the bottom has proven successful. Fishing from the far bank is often preferred to avoid striped catfish which are more prominent on the left side of the lake.
