The Fish of a Lifetime
For Dave Bell fishing in Thailand for the first time, the first few Mekong catfish of around 40lb was already dream fishing. Not long after arriving he hooked into a fish that had all the Fish Thailand Team working hard to control as it stripped line out to every corner of the lake. Young Fish Thailand apprentice 'Geng' proved himself as he swam in and around the bungalow supports to 'save' the fish from braking free. Dave played the 180lb Mekong catfish with great skill for a long time - an hour and a half to be precise. A great introduction to fishing in Thailand for Dave!
