Jimmy from Sweden came fishing in Bangkok today with the Fish Thailand Team. Usually we only fish 1 rod for the Mekong giant catfish Bungsamran Lake fishing package - but Jimmy requested to be the victim of serious arm-wrenching pain using 2 rods! Jimmy was clearly told that 2 rods would be too much for 1 angler to physically handle throughout the day - simply becasue the amount of fish he would be playing would be so exhausting. Well, we were both right and wrong; the fish did indeed feed constantly all day long but to our amazement Jimmy handled each and every one of the 31 fish between 38lb-55lb right up until the very end!
Jimmy is a true warrior fisherman, the Fish Thailand Team have never guided an angler who can play this many fish without any sign of tiring before! Luckily for us no bets were placed! All credit to you Jimmy. |
