Simon Huber comes from the real barramundi country of The Northern Territory in Australia where right on his door step is un spoilt barra fishing grounds. The very fact that Simon thoroughly enjoyed barramundi fishing in Thailand at Boon Mar Ponds, being an artificial environment for farming barramundi speaks volumes for this venue. Fighting with the same possessed fear of a hook than of those in the wild saw Simon smiling from ear to ear as he hooked and landed over twenty specimen Barramundi in the days' fishing. A great venue and opportunity for Simon to also test out his barramundi lures and experiment with retrieve rates and running depths.
