New Fish Thailand Striped Catfish Record!
As soon as Kelvin's striped catfish was in the net it was clear he had smashed the Fish Thailand previous best striped catfish. The scales confirmed exactly 19kg - a new Fish Thailand record and later research also confirmed that it is bigger than the current IGFA world record!
Later that day after some manic action, dan landed a giant Mekong catfish of exactly 100lb - and the day didn't stop there.
Towards the end of the session a fish very rarely caught at Bungsamran graced the banks - a silver carp - Pla Leng Heu - Hypophthalmichthys molitrix - very similar to the bighead carp but a separate species under the same family. |
