A great day for big Mekong catfish fishing at Bungsamran Lake in Bangkok today. Out of the four groups of anglers that joined Fish Thailand, two landed fish over 100lb and every group caught at least twenty fish. The two anglers that triumphed against the odds particularly was Martti's son who at just 15 years old showed incredible fish playing skills. Single handedly he played out a 140lb Mekong catfish with no physical assistance from anyone. Another junior division angler on the day was Lindsay's daughter Lee, who took several angry Mekong catfish and tamed them all the way to the net.
