Jurassic Fishing Park
Another great month for many anglers at Jurassic Fishing Park located in Cha Am. A days fishing in Thailand was enough to bank Siamese carp, redtail catfish and those lucky ones also an arapaima.
Tackle sponsors of Jurassic Fishing Park 'Birds Tackle' of East Anglia in England visited for a days fishing also enjoying the action and spectacular mountain views.
Chad from the U.S fished a day which proved enough to land one of the few resident giant snakehead - ironically he was then booked in to adventure out into Kaeng Krachan Dam fishing for snakehead in the wild.
Bungsamran Lake Bangkok
Another bumper month fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran Lake. Several Mekong catfish over 100lb were landed and every single angler landed fish over 40lb. Within a short drive from the Bangkok City center Bungsamran is most popular for single days fishing.
Kaeng Krachan Dam
Located close to Jurassic Fishing Park this wilderness water makes for great snakehead fishing in Thailand from Fish Thailand's bass boat. Chad's first time out for snakehead he did very well, typically in April the wild waters of Thailand offer mostly juvenile snakeheads close to the shoreline but make for excellent sport as are always eager to snap at the surface lures! Chad did land a few good size ones too - the best being a large striped snakehead. |
