This
is by far one of the most exclusive guided trips that we can
offer here fishing in Thailand but after years of research the
dream of catching such a species has now become reality. The
giant grouper can inhabit brackish conditions such as
estuaries which has led to a small community of dedicated fish
farmers establishing themselves in the brackish lowlands deep
in Sam Roi Yot. The delicate balance of farming such a species
means that very few farmers retain large fish as they are sold
when they reach market size or simply due to the extensive
work involved which often encounters complications. However,
after years of exploring the intricate maze of ponds and
waterways we have discovered a few farmers that have managed
to grow such an impressive species in excess of the 100lb
barrier and by working with them we are proud to be able to
offer the opportunity to target such a powerful prehistoric
predator.

the barramundi, the grouper exhibit explosive bursts of speed
that truly need to be experienced to be understood so to
tackle them by bait fishing on a balanced set up is something
special and the number of trips have been limited to ensure
that we preserve such a unique experience.

aquaculture industry, the pond that we choose to target may vary
throughout the year due to farming practices and harvest times.
