REPORT
This month saw big fish hunter - Andy Harman - return to try his luck with bigger Mekong catfish, arapaima & Siamese carp. Regular readers will remember Andy's last trip caught decent sizes of all species - but not 'enormous' - take a flick back at his last catch report.
This trip around Andy targeted the arapaima in Bungsamran, loosing a big fish on day one damaged the best swim causing a blank on day two. The third day however produced a huge arapaima which Andy landed and estimated at around 300lb - he will do well to ever beat that one!
The next target was to improve on the Siamese carp and Mekong catfish, again fishing in Bangkok at Bungsamran Lake. Jumping in the right swim saw Andy land a brace of Mekong catfish at 110lb & 150lb - smashing his last trip's best by far. The Siamese carp were not bettered this trip and remains Andy's main target for his next trip - in search of the biggest Siamese carp......
Meanwhile - Wade from U.S.A. visited Hua Hin Greenfield and had a cracking weeks fishing landing the two resident largest arapaima at around 130lb each - one of which he caught twice! Along with a beautifully conditioned Siamese carp making a great end to his Thailand fishing holiday.
