Koh Samet is located 200 km south east of Bangkok in the province of Rayong. Travelling by bus to Rayong and then a further 25 km by taxi to the ferry pier at Ban Phe will take approximately 3 hours. From Ban Phe a standard ferry to Koh Samet will take a further 30-45 minutes. Once on Koh Samet it is necessary to take a pick-up taxi to your resort, first stopping at the national park office to pay the admission fees & then driving around the island dropping people off at the various resorts until you reach your resort.
Firstly the Fish Thailand Team collects you from your Bangkok or Pattaya hotel in our private, luxury air-conditioned minivan. From your Bangkok hotel we drive directly to the pier at Ban Phe where our private speedboat awaits, a fast and exhilarating 15 minute boat ride leads you directly to the privately owned beach where our bungalow resort is located. This whole journey starting from your Bangkok hotel to stepping onto the beach takes 3 hours – with Fish Thailand your holiday fun begins the moment we collect you from your hotel.
